Paul Townend partners Kai Lung for Mullins, and Townend has an 18% record at Ballinrobe, but Kai Lung’s recent form is deeply concerning — pulled up, unseated, and tailed off in three consecutive starts. The tongue-tie and hood change signal Mullins is trying to find a solution, but that is not an angle you want to trust at short odds.
