Durkan does post a 17% course strike rate here and the A/E of 1.41 is the best of any trainer on the card, so the yard is worth respecting. Colin Keane takes the ride, which is a significant positive. Still, taking on an unexposed horse who flopped first time up is asking a lot at odds-on territory, and Kraar’s placed form makes him the sounder proposition at a better price.
