Form Guide
Bolívar are in a rough patch heading into this final group stage match. Four games in the brief shows just one point from two available in the league, a draw at home to Nacional Potosí and a goalless stalemate away at Blooming. In the Copa Libertadores, they were beaten 2-1 away at Fluminense. The goals numbers tell the story: four scored, six conceded across those four matches. That’s not the form of a side with momentum.
Independiente Rivadavia are a different picture. The Argentinians arrive in La Paz having taken seven points from their last five matches, with the headline result being a 4-2 away win at Deportivo La Guaira in the Libertadores. They’ve also beaten La Guaira 4-1 at home earlier in the group stage. Eleven goals scored in five matches, seven conceded. There’s genuine attacking threat here, even if the defensive side has leaked a bit.
Martin Cauteruccio leads the first goalscorer market at 5.00 for a reason: Rivadavia have been scoring goals freely in this competition, and he’s the focal point of that attack.
Head-to-Head
These sides met earlier in the 2025/26 Copa Libertadores group stage, with Independiente Rivadavia winning 1-0 at home on 7 April. That’s the only head-to-head data available between these clubs, but it does a job: Rivadavia have already demonstrated they can handle Bolívar in this competition, keeping a clean sheet in the process. Now Bolívar must come out and win on their own patch to salvage anything from the group. The pressure is entirely on the Bolivian side, and that can go one of two ways.
Team News
Both squads look set to have a full complement of players available, with no injury concerns disrupting selection for either side.
Goals Markets
Rivadavia have been scoring at will in this competition, and Bolívar’s leaky recent record makes this look like a match with goals in it. Over 2.5 Goals is priced at 1.75, which feels reasonable given Rivadavia’s 4-2 and 4-1 results in the group stage. Bolívar do need to attack here, so it’s unlikely to be cagey. The Under 2.5 at 2.08 doesn’t tempt me given both teams have incentives to push forward in what is the final group game.
The Betting Angle
The altitude at Estadio Hernando Siles in La Paz is one of the most extreme home advantages in South American football, and Bolívar will be banking on it. But the form book, the Poisson model, and the only previous meeting between these two in 2025/26 all point the same way: Rivadavia. The model gives Bolívar just a 10% chance of winning this match, with 45% each for a draw or a Rivadavia victory.
Backing Rivadavia outright at 2.75 is tempting, but given the altitude factor and Bolívar’s desperation, the draw is a real possibility too. The double chance covering Rivadavia or the draw offers safety, but if you want a straight call, Rivadavia at 2.75 represents value given everything we know. Their goals record in this competition is excellent, their recent Libertadores results back it up, and they already beat Bolívar in this exact group stage in April.
If you want a longer shot to go alongside, Sebastian Villa at 6.50 for first goalscorer is worth a small play given Rivadavia’s attacking output.
Odds: 2.75 — Betway
Rivadavia have been the group’s most consistent attacking side, already beat Bolívar 1-0 in this competition in April, and arrive with 11 goals scored in their last five matches. Bolívar’s form is shaky and their numbers over the last four games show a side shipping more than they score. The altitude is a factor, but the quality gap and the data both favour the Argentinians here.
