Form Check: Brentford's Draw Streak vs Fulham's Dip
Five games without a win for Brentford, but five games without a loss too. Every single one of their last five has ended level, including a 2-2 against Everton at home last weekend, a 2-2 at West Ham in the FA Cup, and a 0-0 at Bournemouth before that. Keith Andrews' side are frustratingly hard to beat right now but equally hard to back. They're seventh in the Premier League on 47 points, and while the home record is decent (W7 D6 L3), they're not exactly blowing teams away at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Fulham are in a worse place mentally. Marco Silva's side have lost three of their last five, conceding five goals in the process while scoring just three. The 0-2 defeat at Liverpool is understandable, but losing 0-1 at home to Southampton in the FA Cup and 0-1 at home to West Ham in the league shows a side struggling for confidence on their own patch. They're 12th on 44 points with a goal difference of -3. Their away form is grim: W4 D3 L9 on the road this season.
Injuries and Team News
Brentford are missing Ethan Pinnock, Kevin Schade, and Vitaly Janelt heading into Saturday, and those are meaningful absences. Pinnock is a key defensive presence, Schade provides attacking threat off the bench and from wide, and Janelt has been a reliable midfield engine when fit. Andrews will need cover across the pitch.
Fulham have problems of their own. Antonee Robinson, Ryan Sessegnon, and Rodrigo Muniz are all sidelined. Losing Robinson down the left flank hurts their width and attacking output significantly. Muniz has been their main focal point up front, and without him, Silva needs others to step up in the final third. That's a lot of quality stripped out of a side that already lacks goals at the moment.
Head-to-Head: Fulham Have Had the Edge Recently
The recent head-to-head record leans Fulham's way, but context matters here. Fulham beat Brentford 3-1 at Craven Cottage back in September, which is the most recent meeting between the sides. Before that, Fulham won 2-1 at Craven Cottage in November 2024, and edged a 3-2 win at the Brentford Community Stadium in May 2025. So Fulham have won three of the last four H2H meetings, including at Brentford's ground.
That said, Saturday's Fulham look nothing like a side firing on all cylinders. Winning those games with key attackers available is a different proposition to arriving at the Brentford Community Stadium without Muniz leading the line and having shipped five goals in five matches.
The Betting Angle
The draw at 3.84 is tempting given Brentford's form, but backing Brentford at 2.18 to win at home makes the most sense here. Andrews' side haven't lost in five, they're playing at home, and Fulham are walking into this with their top striker missing, a leaky defence, and confidence shot after back-to-back home defeats. The away form for Fulham this season (four wins from 16 road games) doesn't inspire.
Brentford won't set the world alight, but they're tough to beat at home and Fulham don't have the firepower right now to unlock them. The goals line is also worth a look. Four of Brentford's last five have seen two or more goals, but Fulham have gone 0-0 at Forest and 0-1 against two separate opponents. Under 2.5 at 2.2 isn't without merit, but the Brentford home win is the sharper call.
Odds: 2.18 — 1xBet
Fulham arrive without Muniz leading the line, with four wins in 16 away games this season and back-to-back home defeats denting confidence. Brentford haven't lost in five and Keith Andrews will set up to be hard to beat on home turf. At 2.18, the value is there for a Bees win.
