She’s unexposed, she’s at a course where Elliott has 170 wins and counting, and Sam Ewing riding is relevant here: Ewing hits 17% winners at Downpatrick with an above-par A/E of 1.04. At 6/1 in a weak maiden, there’s a case to take a view at this price rather than lay out at 4/5 about Shoda.

Cosmos d’Ainay is the 8/11 favourite under Jack Kennedy, and you’d have to respect a recent winner returning over a trip and going he handles. Kennedy’s own A/E at this course is 0.76, meaning his mounts underperform their market prices here.

Patrick M O’Brien takes the ride on Joya Del Mar and may outrun her price at 11/1, but Theflyingbee’s placed record and higher rating make her the more reliable each-way proposition.
