Rebel Comet has posted two wins in three starts, including a narrow victory on 3 June where she dictated from trap 2 after a clean break. Her form string 123 across recent outings shows consistency and adaptability; she handled crowding at bend 3 and recovered to close on 28 May. At A2 grade and with a middle trap draw, she sits ideally placed to repeat that success. Shes High is a proven A1 and A2 winner but has slipped to 4224 form in her last five runs, suggesting fatigue or a loss of sharpness. Glenrock King, despite three placings at A1, has registered 5323 form and lacks the accelerative punch needed here. NAP: Rebel Comet, Trap 2. 19:26 – Grade A4, 500m

Gretna delivered back-to-back wins at A4 and A5 grades in late May, with a 1311 form string showing excellent consistency from middle traps. Her most recent outing on 7 June from trap 4 saw her crowded early but refuse to panic, running on late for fourth. The move back to A4 grade is a perfect mark, and her pattern of middle-trap racing aligns well with Hove’s 500m characteristics. Ferndale Model’s recent 2443 run shows she remains competitive at A4 but lacks Gretna’s momentum. Yougo Jenny has drifted from A3 to A4 and her 4244 form line suggests she is struggling at the A3 ceiling. NAP: Gretna, Trap 3. Droopys Delux is the standout selection on the card.
