Price made a sudden last-minute withdrawal from the UK Pool Open just before his match, and a very similar scenario preceded this very playoff fixture. Whether that raises fitness concerns or simply reflects how selective he is being with his energy, it is a question mark that punters cannot ignore heading into a knockout format.

Littler at 1.4 is short, no question about it. But the price reflects reality rather than punter-unfriendly overreach from the bookmakers. You are backing the world number one, the form player of the season, against an opponent who has lost four of his last five and arrived with genuine uncertainty surrounding his physical readiness. Price at 3.0 might tempt those who remember the Gerwyn Price of 2021, but that version of the Ice Man has not shown up consistently in 2026.
