Slippy Rita has earned her chance at A4 after a sharp recent run of form. Her form string shows 14234, indicating reliability and late pace. She’s drawn in Trap 3, which carries 22 per cent win percentage at this trip over the 60-day sample, matching the top-biased traps. Daniel Is Here in Trap 1 has struggled since moving up grades, posting five, six, four and four finishes in his last four runs at A5. Steeple Rd Laura has mixed distance experience recently (two sprint races recorded in April), suggesting the return to 500m A5 may have unsettled her. However, her most recent win signals a return to form at this lower grade. Form string 15533 doesn’t dazzle, but the latest result is a 1, which matters in greyhound racing. Trap 3 is neutral at 22 per cent here. Keplar Banshee (Trap 1) is a lightly-raced one-year-old with five consecutive fifths, including lame notation and slow-away trouble, suggesting immaturity and potential soundness concerns.
