Steve Claggett

Steve Claggett is a Canadian professional boxer competing in the super lightweight division. Born in Calgary, Alberta on 11 June 1989, Claggett — nicknamed “Dragon” — has been a journeyman operator at world level, having previously challenged for the WBO super lightweight title. He has Chinese ancestry through his maternal grandfather and turned to boxing at age 19.

Claggett has a professional record of 39 wins from 49 fights, with 27 knockouts. He is a durable, experienced opponent who has gone the distance with and pushed world-level fighters throughout his career. In 2026 he faces Adam Azim at Wembley Arena on 30 May, live on BBC One.
