Adam Azim

Adam Azim is an undefeated British professional boxer competing in the super lightweight division. Born in Slough, Berkshire on 21 July 2002 to British Pakistani parents, Azim turned professional at 18 and has not looked back since. Nicknamed “The Assassin”, he holds the IBO super lightweight title and previously held the European super lightweight belt from 2023 to 2024.

Azim had an exceptional amateur career, winning ten national titles and reaching world number one ranking at youth level in the welterweight division. His brother Hassan Azim is also a professional boxer. Coached from an early age by his father, Azim is widely regarded as one of the most exciting young British boxing prospects of his generation.

He is scheduled to return from injury against Steve Claggett at Wembley Arena on 30 May 2026, live on BBC One.
